Cappadocia Pilgrimage Tour is a tour of the main and most famous temples in Cappadocia. The temples that we will visit during this tour belong to the Christian Churches of the Orthodox Church, but it will also be interesting for people of other faiths, because this tour is also cultural, where tourists will be able to appreciate all the beauty and splendor of early Christian and Byzantine architecture and painting. 

Tour schedule:

       Your first stop will be the Goreme Open Air Museum. This is a huge complex that includes two dozen churches, eight of which are open to tourists. The list of churches you will visit includes the Church of Tokala, the Dark Church, the Church with Sandals, the Church of the Apple and other churches that are part of the museum. It is worth mentioning that the Museum is included in the UNESCO list, which already shows how important these places are for the cultural heritage of humanity.

       Your next stop will be another open-air museum, the Zelve Museum. In the XI century AD, the Zelve Rock Monastery was built on the territory of the museum, which later became overgrown with several churches and turned into an important center of the Christian world at that time. On the territory of the museum there are also the famous Churches of the Grape Bunches, the Fish and the Deer. This place is one of the key cultural places in the region, so a visit is a must.

       • Mustafapasa is a small town that houses the Church of St. Stephen, the Monastery and the Chapel of St. Nicholas.
