Taksim Square
During our Istanbul Contrasts tour, we will visit Taksim Square, located in the Beyoğlu district, which is one of the most important and popular points in the city. The square, often visited by tourists, is an interesting area with hotels, shopping centers, entertainment venues and local attractions.
In 2013, traffic on the square was finally blocked and the square became a pedestrian zone.
Taksim Square is one of the most visited in Istanbul. And during the Ottoman period, it was the heart of the Pera district.
Here you will see important buildings such as the Atatürk Monument, the Republic Monument, Gezi Park, and the Istanbul Cultural Center.

Istiklal Avenue
Then we will move with you to the place that is called the heart of Istanbul – Istiklal Street.
Located in the middle of thousands of years of history, for hundreds of years it has hosted people of different peoples of the world, inspired by their spirit and culture.
Today, this street is one of the first places visited by locals and visitors to the city coming to Istanbul. On the street there are dozens of shops of local and international brands, historical sights, cafes, restaurants of European and Turkish cuisine, and it is also here that the famous red tram passes, with which guests of Istanbul dream of taking photos.
Cathedral of St. Anthony of Padua
And after a walk through the famous streets of the city, we will go to the Cathedral of St. Anthony. It is the largest Catholic church in Turkey, and people from all over the country come here to make a wish, listen to a sermon and light a candle.
In front of the entrance to the cathedral, you will see a statue of Pope John XXIII. In 1932, he preached his first sermon here and then held services here for 10 years.

Galata Tower
After exploring the ancient history, we will visit with you the most popular place in Istanbul, the Galata Tower.
Galata Tower is considered one of the oldest towers in the world and one of the symbols of Istanbul. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in 2013.
It is one of the most important buildings that form the silhouette of Istanbul, and for a long time it was used as a fire watchtower and was called the "Galata Fire Tower".
The Galata Tower is worth a visit not only for its historical value, but also for its gorgeous view of the city. At the top of the tower there is a restaurant and a café where you can spend time in the pleasant company of friends, observing the life of Istanbul from a bird's eye view.
Dolmabahce Palace
And we will end our tour with a walk through the greatest creation of architecture of the Ottoman period - the Dolmabahce Palace. Here, in the best possible way, you can trace almost the entire history from the beginning of the Ottoman Empire to the creation of modern Turkey.
6 sultans lived on the territory of the palace, and Mustafa Kemal Atatürk lived, worked and died here in the 20th century.
The most important feature of the Ottoman Palace is that it reflects the legendary wealth of the Ottoman Empire. You will feel it as you walk through the halls of the palace, glittering with gold, silver, diamonds and crystal products.
We will visit all three parts of the palace:
The harem is the largest and most mysterious part of the palace, where the sultan lived with his family and maids.
Selamlik is the first room with a huge branching chandelier used as an administrative center. Meetings, receptions and various kinds of meetings were held here.
The ceremonial hall, illuminated by 750 lamps, fascinates visitors with a chandelier weighing a total of 4.5 tons, it was here that ceremonies, celebrations and balls were held.

Thank you. Jan. 2019 I would like to thank escoTour Travel Agency for their help! Unfortunately, we arrived in Coppadocia on a bad day and quite late and, having climbed to the observation room, realized that we did not know what to do next. . . Remembering that they saw a Russian-language sign, they decided to go back and ask what was the point. . We were called inside when we were not even going to enter, and hesitantly trampled on the porch :) A caring guide gave us tea, told us everything and even offered to take us to the hotel at a convenient time in a terrible blizzard! We didn’t even buy a tour or were customers. : In general, it is very hospitable and human! Thank you!

Fabulous landscapes! Aug. 2019 We went to Cappadocia from Kemer. The tour is called Cappadocia Tour. With plans to ride a balloon. I'll start in order. The road from Kemer to Nevsehir (overnight in a 4 star hotel) was 10 hours. Let me explain why: the route to Cappadocia begins in the area of Side - Manavgat (500 km - 6 hours). Therefore, another 3 hours takes only the road to Side - Manavgata - the meeting place of all participants of the excursion. But this does not darken the impression of what you see. Throughout the road, they stopped at panoramas, beautiful views: Uchhisar Fortress, Goreme open-air museum, underground cities, all sorts of valleys (doves, love, panorama of other cities, hotel in stones). Indeed, bizarre mountains, unreal views, all mountains are dotted with holes and dwellings of residents. The guide tells the story of the formation of all this. That's how the first day goes. We arrive at the hotel tonight. We lived in 4 stars, Tashsarai Hotel. Nice hotel, cool meals, nice rooms. New plumbing, slippers, towels. It's as it should be. The next morning, they planned a balloon flight. But alas, the cancellation due to the wind (over 13 m / s.) before our arrival for 4 days did not fly for the same reason. So you can come this far and not ride a balloon. Not even on the observation deck, so there is nothing to see. So, before breakfast, we wandered around the city, met the dawn on the main square, talked with local dogs. After breakfast again on the road back. new views, valleys, panoramas, crafts of locals, the city of Konya (to information: 2 million inhabitants). But, despite everything, the tour leaves an indelible impression of what you saw. The mere fact that you are in the center of Turkey (we have located our location via satellite on the map) makes such travel special. memorable. Yes, I forgot to say: the road runs through the mountains, the beginning of the way is chic serpentine, picturesque mountain views.
