Derinkuyu underground city is one of the most famous and largest underground cities in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. This ancient city was carved into the soft volcanic rock and served as a refuge and defence structure for centuries.
Derinkuyu is one of the deepest underground cities in Cappadocia with several levels, underground corridors, rooms and storerooms. This city had everything needed to live and survive during military conflicts and other dangers. There were ventilation systems, drinking water wells.
The Ihlara Canyon, also known as the Ihlara Valley, is one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the Cappadocia region of central Turkey. This canyon is one of the largest and deepest in Turkey and is famous for its unique landscapes and historical artefacts. The main feature of Ihlara Canyon is the Meliendiz River, which flows along the bottom of the canyon, creating picturesque views and providing an abundance of natural vegetation. The canyon is surrounded by high rock walls and on its slopes you can see many ancient Christian churches and monasteries carved into the rock. Many of them have frescoes dating from the 4th to the 11th century. The Ihlara Canyon offers wonderful hiking and picnic routes. Tourists can follow the scenic trails along the river and enjoy the incredible nature and cultural finds. During the walk you can see many temples and churches, such as the Church of St George and the Church of Agach Hayazma, as well as many caves, which were used in the past as places of prayer and dwelling. Ihlara Gorge is not only a stunning natural site, but also a historical archaeological site that attracts tourists and explorers who want to learn more about Cappadocia's rich heritage.
We will have lunch at local A la Carte restaurants along the route and at your request for an additional fee. In Cappadocia you can try local wines in local restaurants as Cappadocia is famous for its wine cellars
Pigeon Valley is one of the most famous valleys in the Cappadocia region of Turkey. The valley takes its name from the large number of pigeons and their nests that can be found on the rock formations and towers in the area. Dove Valley is famous for its unique rock formations, which include rock towers and columns carved out of soft volcanic rock. These formations create a spectacular landscape and offer travellers amazing views. The Valley of the Pigeons is also known for its numerous caves, which were once used by the inhabitants of Cappadocia as living quarters and shelters. The Valley of the Pigeons is another of the many stunning natural and cultural attractions in Cappadocia that make the region such an amazing tourist destination.
In the Cappadocia region of Turkey there are many workshops where stone products are made. This region is famous for its unique geology, which makes the local stones and rock formations excellent materials for arts and crafts. Here are different types of stone products that can be made in workshops in Cappadocia:
Sculptures: These are made from tuff, a soft volcanic rock native to the region. These sculptures can represent various objects, abstract shapes or images of animals and people.
Jewellery: Craftsmen in Cappadocia also create jewellery, including necklaces, bracelets and rings, from a variety of stones and minerals.

Cappadocia. Göreme June 2018 • For two We went to Cappadocia not really imagining what kind of terrain and what is interesting. Stayed in Gorem. On the first evening, walking around the city, came across the travel agency escotour. We went in, talked, and we were on our red tour this morning. Then green. Then blue. Blue tour for some reason is not popular among tourists. So we actually got an individual tour at a group price. And he was very interesting! We finished our trip to Cappadocia on a Jeep safari. Cappadocia is an amazing area with an interesting history. Thank you so much to Escotour for your professionalism and willingness to help!

Cappadocia May 2019 We just walked by and walked in. As a result, we received a lot of impressions from excursions. Everything was organized clearly and professionally. I especially liked the individual tour (the group did not gather). We were taken to places where tour groups do not reach. Far away in the mountains we saw temples that were much better preserved than the temples in the valley. We saw abandoned villages. We roamed the mountains and enjoyed peace and quiet. We also took an individual safari tour. It was really great!

Cappadocia is power! St. 2019 Sent grandma and granddaughter. Sezai, of course, well done. I met him, helped with all the questions (they flew and left by bus to the coast on their own, so there were some disturbances). What a special bow for him! Excursions are a red and green tour. I especially liked the red one where Sezai was a guide. I will definitely recommend it to friends and acquaintances.

Exceptional hospitality! Oct. 2018 We were in Cappadocia last year. Before the trip, we found Sezai’s website by searching on the Internet and wrote to him. He responded immediately, organized a meeting at the airport, round trip transfer, two tours of Cappadocia in a group with a wonderful guide. We visited all the most beautiful places, caves, dungeons, natural monuments. Cappadocia is a unique and amazing part of Turkey, unlike anything else. When Sezai found out that we would have a birthday while in Cappadocia, he gave us a cake! Unfortunately, the weather was bad for all three days, and the balloons did not rise into the air. I didn’t manage to fly, but I really wanted to! We will definitely return to Cappadocia again, this time only in summer weather, and we will definitely turn to Sezai!

Hospitable welcome Nov. 2019 We were in Cappadocia on November 1-4, 2019. The tour was booked through an Istanbul travel agency. Sezai met us in Kaysari right after the plane arrived (in Istanbul the main agency forced us to wait 1.5-2 hours for the transfer). We had individual tours. Our guide was ERDIM. Many thanks to him for the excursions. We had a 7-year-old son with us. ERDIM told and showed everything in such a way that the child found everything interesting and exciting. We visited all the most beautiful places, caves, and natural monuments. My child and I were in a ceramic workshop. Thanks to ERDIM, the child was able to build a pot with his own hands on a pottery wheel. The pleasure is through the roof. Thanks to the agency, we flew in balloons and took an individual tour on a jeep safari. Everything was very cool! We will definitely recommend to friends and acquaintances for everything that was organized clearly and professionally.

Liked March 2020 • For two We took a green tour with this agency. Everything went without any deviations, exactly according to schedule. Russian speaking guide. The route is interesting, of course we would have walked longer on our own through the underground city in Kaymakli and the Ilhara Valley and the fantastic Selime Monastery, but then we definitely wouldn’t have fit into the available time frame. We also talked a lot with the manager named Mustafa, he speaks excellent Russian. Helped with organizing the transfer, and was simply a pleasant conversationalist. I really liked the attitude towards clients. They will always help you and offer you tea, coffee and juice. We'll definitely come here again on our next trip to Goreme. Greetings from Kazan!

Private tour of Cappadocia Sep. 2020 • Family vacation Good afternoon My family and I came to Cappadocia on our own. No excursion or assistance from tour operators. After checking into the hotel, we went for a walk around the city of Goreme. We realized that in Cappadocia you need a competent guide with knowledge of the region and knowledge of the Russian language 😁 We decided to contact this company and did not regret it. In two days we saw the main attractions. The guide speaks excellent Russian, knows the history of the region very well, and knows his way around the region. There was no cheating from the outside, which was very nice. We took an individual tour for a family with two children. For the whole day we paid 300 dollars, a very reasonable price, which includes absolutely all services (tickets, food, photos, travel) Additionally, we booked small excursions for the next day. Red private tour Feb. 2021 • For two Enjoyed the beautiful Cappadocia in the company of guide Sezai. We visited the Goreme open-air museum, all the chapels, the Valley of Love and Imagination, and looked at the pottery factory in Avanos. Interesting, rich, bright, colorful, romantic Feb. 2021 • For two My wife and I came to Cappadocia for just one day (2 nights). There is very little time, but there are a lot of interesting things around. This is a rock-fortress, and an underground city, and ancient Christian churches, and much, much more. How to be on time everywhere?! It’s good that before our trip to Cappadocia we contacted Sezai, our guide, who, through his agency, organized the entire program in the best possible way: meeting at Kayseri airport, transfer to Germe, accommodation in an authentic hotel stylized as a cave city, optimal excursion route to the most interesting places , interesting and educational excursion in good Russian, return transfer to Kayseri airport. It was very interesting and informative. We really regretted that, due to an early flight to Istanbul, we were not able to take part in a very spectacular and beautiful event: a mass balloon flight. We thank Sezai for organizing this trip, for a beautiful excursion that he conducted with sincere love for his country, with hospitality and respect for tourists visiting Cappadocia. Cappadocia is awesome! Apr Aug. 2023 We went with a group from INELTA TRAVEL. I liked everything! Turkish-style Garden Hotel, English-speaking Sezai guide! He knew how to fill in the pauses and offer something in return. For example, unfortunately, the balloon flight did not take place due to weather conditions.

The green tour was wonderful!! Apr Aug. 2023 • Friends Divinely passed the sightseeing day of the Green Tour!! We were accompanied by a guide who spoke perfect Russian, knew a lot, and was polite! Thank you, Mert!! How much depends on the guide! This is the second program in Cappadocia. And before that, we were on three excursions in Istanbul. Here's the best serve!! The guide of Cappadocia conducted an individual tour for a family of four. One of the best trips ever! Comfortable car, excellent driver, a delightful guide – Sezai Dogruer. Unlike the coast of Turkey, there are very few Russian-speaking guides in Cappadocia, here you will find the best! We wanted to visit Cappadocia and at the beginning we considered organized tours from the coast, but these are tours where you can see much less than you would like. We began to plan an independent tour Kiev – Kayseri – Goreme (Cappadocia) – Pamukkale – Kemer. There was an unexpected problem with the convenient transfer from Goreme to Pamukkale and on the Internet we found Sezai, who offered much more than a transfer. With him we made an individual tour of Cappadocia and Pamukkale. Sezai arranged a sunrise meeting in a hot air balloon. The routes were made on the basis of red and green tours, a visit to the Zelve Valley was added - it is not included in the standard routes, but we thought it was one of the interesting places and a must-visit (we visited it twice - a walk in the afternoon, and a night laser show). Sezai tried to provide us with maximum comfort - he listened to all our wishes. The guide spent much more time with us than agreed, while always being attentive, responsive, friendly and interesting. After visiting Cappadocia and listening to the guide, you look at the history in a new way, opening its new pages. You are amazed by the creations of nature and man – multi-storey rocky and underground cities built more than a thousand years ago. During the transfer from Goreme to Pamukkale there was an excursion to the city of Konya - a city with more than 4 thousand years of history, the birthplace of Khoja Nasreddin, the mosque and grave of the poet Mevlyana Rumi (founder of the order of derveshes), a box with a fragment of the beard of the Prophet Muhammad. Excursion in Pamukkale - the same was different from the usual excursions, which bring tourists from the coast. In the early morning, when there is no one around, you walk through the well-preserved city (Herapolis), which was abandoned by its inhabitants more than a thousand years ago. We spent three nights in Cappadocia, two nights in Pamukkale and went to the sea. On the way to Kemer, we stopped and climbed on foot to the ancient city of Termessos, in the mountains at an altitude of more than a kilometer above sea level. The most picturesque and interesting place. Unique and unique natural creations, sunrise and hundreds of balloons, snow-white travertines, various ancient cities - it was a delightful and unforgettable tour with indescribable impressions!
